Alli the Book Giraffe

Hello readers! How is everyone’s reading going in June? I am sending good reading vibes to all readers.

If you don’t know WWW Wednesday a weekly meme created by Taking On a World of Words where you share what you have read, are reading, and will read next.

I personally do this the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month, just to let everyone know what I am reading. If you would like to see more, check out my Instagram. I always post what I’m reading on stories.

What are you currently reading?

I started Legendborn today for a book club I joined. This book club just started this month and we all voted to read Legendborn. This book is a lot chunkier than I though it would be, so I need to read it sooner rather than later.

What did you read last?

I just finished Throne of Glass yesterday. It isn’t my favorite SJM book, but I didn’t think it would be. I just wanted to make my way through this series because it is the only thing I haven’t read by her. I’m optimistic for future books.

I didn’t love ACOTAR when I read it, and ended up loving the series overall. I’m hoping that will be the case here, too.

What will you read next?

I have a plan for an audiobook, a physical book, and a graphic novel, which I will most likely read all at once!

I have an audio ARC of this one and it comes out in about a week. I really need to read this one so I can get my review up. I didn’t get my most recent NetGalley book finished before the pub date and I really don’t want that to happen again.

Based on the synopsis of this one, it is a book about a cult in a college. That doesn’t seem like something I have read much of before, but I loved Michaelides previous book, so I’m optimistic.

I know this wasn’t on my TBR, but I am dying to read it. I have been trying to make my way through my TBR just so I can get to this book. I bought this book a few months ago not really knowing when I would read it, and it has been calling my name!

I am finally feeling like reading again, which means I can read more big fantasy books. I’m super excited 🙂

I currently have Walking Dead volumes 5 through 10 from the library. I really need to pick them up so I can return them to the library. The Walking Dead books are very different from the show. They are different in storyline, character personalities, relationships, and drama. I’m having a lot of fun reading through them!
