I just started an ARC called Spells Trouble by PC and Kristen Cast. I tried for months to get this ARC because I really love P C Cast’s books. I am so excited to read something new by her, even if it means starting a new series. I don’t have much to say about it yet, as I have only read a few pages.
I started this book back at the beginning of March. Now, I am buddy reading it with a bunch of people on Instagram. I am almost 200 pages in, and I really just want to catch up on this universe so I can watch the show.
I’ve been very slumpy in April, but I have been making my way through some series. I started and finished Orange this month. I got these books from the library, but I really want to buy copies of them.
Orange is about a girl named Naho, who gets letters from herself in the future. She has to change a bunch of things about her life to have less regrets AND to save her new friend from committing suicide. It is such a heartwarming manga, and I was crying by the end. I loved these books and I highly recommend reading them all at once.
I have been meaning to read this, but I just don’t really want to read any high fantasy right now. I have been doing a readalong for the Cosmere this year, and I won’t let a reading slump ruin that for me. I think I will just try to read a little bit of it a day along with reading something else. I’m excited to read it, I just don’t know if now is the right time, but I’m running out of time in the month to get to it.
