Hello readers! Today I am bringing you a weekly meme that I have seen a few people do. It is called Top 5 Saturday and was created by Devouring Books. I’m so excited to start doing this each week, and I hope you all are as well. This weeks prompt was either the top 5 biggest books on your TBR or the biggest that you have read.

My Dad bought me this book for Christmas one year. I remember getting this book and thinking I would never actually read it. However, my Dad passed away when I was 20 ( I’m currently 27), and I never wanted to unhaul it because of that. This book is 1,232 pages! I had the urge to pick it up at the end of 2019, and vigorously read it for the last 12 days of the year. I LOVE this book. If you love books that take place over the entire period of someone’s life, like I do, this would be for you!
I have read It by Stephen King quite a few times in my life, and would love to do so again. The biggest copy I read by him was 1,166 pages. If you are looking to get into SK, I wouldn’t start here, however, I do think it is well worth the read if you love big books or Stephen King books in general.
I read this book back in September of 2020, and it is 1,007 pages. I am hoping to catch up on this series this year, and the books only get longer and longer. I tried to dive into this book with the audiobook, and I had a hard time reading it. I decided to pick up a copy and read it with my eyes, and I HIGHLY recommend doing that. This is one of the only books I have ever read that I did color coded annotations, and it was really fun to do so!
I really don’t like bring up Harry Potter, but book 5 is the 4th largest book I’ve ever read. My copy is 870 pages. Like a lot of us readers, I grew up loving HP. I saw every movie in theatre with a ton of my family. However, I didn’t read the HP books until I was an adult. Ironically, I HATED the 5th movie, but I think book 5 was one of my favorites in the series.
11/22/63 is a scifi book about a guy who goes back in time and saves JFK from being assassinated. It’s 849 pages and if you don’t want to tread through this giant book, I would recommend the TV show on Hulu! It’s a pretty good adaptation on the book, and is only one season, so not much commitment. This is definitely one of Kings best works, in my opinion.
