Hello readers! Today I wanted to share with you all the unread books on my Kindle. I don’t actually have that many, but I thought I should share them, as I have shared with you guys every unread book I physically own.
Recently, I have decided to start posting 3 times a week, instead of two. I am hoping to post Monday, either Wednesday or Thursday, and Saturday each week. I do post on Twitter and my Instagram stories when I post, so make sure to follow me there to be the first to know when I do post!
I first received a Kindle for Christmas back in 2012. My original Kindle is a first generation Kindle Fire. As the years have gone by, I have used it less and less, and now a lot of the apps don’t even work on it. So, last month, I finally took the leap and bought myself a newer version.
Most of the books on this list are books I have had for years and I might never actually get to, but some are newer downloads, now that I am finally getting back into reading ebooks.

I remember back when vampire stories were all the rage. I wanted to get into this series, but the shear number books and overlapping series overwhelmed me back then. I have watched a few seasons of the TV show, and I don’t know if I will ever actually get to this book now that I have. Unlike most people, I like love triangles. However, it is a bit weird when the triangle involves brothers. That situation can’t end well for anyone involved.

This is one I just never got around to reading. I know the plot of this book is about suicide, and since buying it on my Kindle, the author has unfortunately committed suicide himself. Either way, I know I will get to this book one day, and watch the movie, because I haven’t done that either.
Trigger Warnings: suicide as a main plot point, depression, self harm, attempted suicide

Last year, I tried to read Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater, and it just was not for me. I haven’t written her off completely, and would still love to read this series. I know a lot of people really love it, and I would love to see why for myself.
Trigger Warnings: attempted murder, underage drinking, domestic abuse, depression, murder, ritual sacrifice, references to suicide

This is one that I forgot I owned on my Kindle. Fight Club has to be one my favorite movies and most watched movies of all time. I haven’t watched it in a long while, but I love it. I think this book could potentially be one my favorites, if it is anything like the movie.
Trigger Warnings: guns, murder, castration, drug use, violence, suicide ideation, insomnia

Out of all these books, I have no idea why I bought this one. I remember that I used to own this book physically as well. There are only a few things that will completely turn me off from reading a book, and zombies is one of them. I do not and never have enjoyed stories about zombies. I mean, I did like Warm Bodies, but that was a bit different. Also, this book is about a pandemic that causes this virus which turns people into zombies. I am not sure who wants to read pandemic books right now, but it isn’t me.

This is a book that you can get for free on Kindle. It was on my list of classics I wanted to read in 2021, of which I haven’t read any on that list so far. I just haven’t been in the mood for classics this year. I realized in 2019, when I was taking a college World Lit class, that I really love French classics, and this is a French classic I found when researching them more.

I read the first book in this series around 9 years ago. I reread it in 2019 to see if I wanted to continue. I decided I did want to, and still have not. However, my husband recently bought me the second book on Kindle, so I hope to read it VERY soon. I am really interested in some other series by this author, but I made myself a rule that I have to finish the series I started almost a decade ago first.

I found this author on Instagram. I though the cover of this book was stunning, so I decided to check it out. It was available on Kindle Unlimited, along with all of her books, so I decided to go ahead and get it. I don’t know when I will get the chance to actually read it, but I hope to soon.

This last book is an ARC that I just got through Netgalley. I waited to get this ARC for so long, and I am so ready to read it. I just hope this series doesn’t turn out to be 12 books like her last series was. This book comes out in early May, if you are interested. Once I have read it, I will give more of a detailed synopsis on what it is actually about. As of right now, I know it is a series about twin witches.
Happy blogging and bookish adventures! 📚🦒✨
